batting

You are no longer required to have a backing, batting and binding when you donate your quilt top. 

1. If you prefer to make the quilt top only, you may turn it in to

the “Quilt Tops only” bin in Cabinet 104S. The CS

Committee will cut batting, prepare backing and make it

available for Longarm volunteers to quilt and bind it.

2. If you would like to quilt and bind your charity quilt top, we

can provide batting, backing, binding (You can find backing and binding materials in our fabric resources.)  or whatever you need

to complete the quilt.

If you’re completing a charity quilt on your own and need batting to finish it please complete the batting request form.

Provide the exact measurements of your quilt top when you contact her. An extra 8 inches will be added on all sides to allow for longarm quilting.
