Description:
A good scrap-busting project! We’ll talk about color and value placement and look at examples. Pattern will be provided in class. We’ll cut and sew one 12” block sample in class. You’re welcome to make another if time permits.

In this class attendees will learn how to make a 10 ½” Layered Star Trivet using a folding method.
The Layered Star Trivet is reminiscent of similar projects that used the same technique back in the 1980s. We'll take a step back from piecing and just enjoy some color as we play with simple squares and create a beautiful star pattern. Join Mary for a bit of folding fun!

In this class attendees will learn how to make a Yellow Brick Road quilt. A great project for beginners.
Grab a handful of fat quarters and you’re on the road to a fast and fun quilt. This super simple quilt is rotary cut and strip pieced – it just looks like you emptied out the scrap bag.
