opportunity Quilt 2025

 PebbleCreek Quilters (PCQ) is proud to present The Queen and Her Court – Crown Jewel Quilt for its 2025 opportunity drawing.

This bold and colorful quilt was designed by Jenny Foltz and Toni Kaye Steere of Wing and a Prayer Design, Inc. © 2009. The quilt top was pieced by Cynthia Santoro, a talented and prolific award-winning quilter and a beloved member of PCQ.  The blocks include the Queen block, Applique blocks and Checker Board blocks. Some of the blocks used paper piecing. The top is finished with three borders. Barbara Maurer added the borders to the top and quilted and bound the quilt. The finished quilt is 92 x 85 inches. 

Proceeds from the ticket sales are used to purchase the materials necessary to make the quilts. Local charities receiving the quilts include: Hospice of the Valley, Southwest Family Advocacy Center and Magdalene House. In 2024, PCQ donated 280 quilts. 

Tickets are $1 each or $5 for six. And can be purchased at the Expressions Gallery in the Creative Arts Center (CAC). The quilt will be on display at CAC in March and June.
