Fourth Friday of the month
Fiber Arts Room
1:00-4:00 pm
The next meeting of the Machine Embroidery small group will take place on Friday, March 20 at 1:00 PM. We will be meeting the 3rd Friday this month. We will be working on :
We will be making a blank banner. Any embroidery design can be added to it; I added an Embroidery Library “stamp” to the one I made. You could add a holiday greeting or design or add something to decorate your sewing space. The 6x10 hoop makes a banner suitable for a tabletop stand which can be purchased on Amazon or elsewhere. You can make it to fit a larger hoop. I will supply the embroidery file in the format you need for your machine. You can make the banner and then add the design, but I merged the two designs with computer software so the computer could center the added design. Please RSVP to Nadine at needds@aol.com.
Supplies needed:
Banner fabric to fit the hoop you choose
Fabric for the appliqué that goes on the top
Fabric for the back of the banner.
Medium cutaway stabilizer
Lightweight batting
Fabric to make the hanging tabs
Embroidery machine with hoop, thread, scissors, pins
Sewing machine if you want to complete the project in class
Rotary cutter and ruler
Please respond by March 18th if you plan to attend, to Nadine Eder at needds@aol.com .

The 12 Days of Christmas
Riley Blake Designs
Come and join us as we construct this beautiful seasonal sampler quilt celebrating the magical season of Christmas!
You don't have to make the whole quilt, you may use your blocks for pillows, table runners or whatever you’d like.
You may sew from your stash or in the basics as suggested in the fabric requirements.
Instructions for a new block will be provided each month for 12 months and when sewn together, becomes a festive holiday sampler quilt for yourself or to give as a gift.
Finished size: 48” x 63” inches
Again, this is a work at your own pace quilt.
