 This will be a class which will be an Introduction to Machine Appliqué. Everyone is invited to bring their machine and sew or to hang out and watch. We’ll be using a free butterfly design from Designs by Juju. You can go to the Juju website, grab the design (click this link Baby Butterfly)and put it on a USB stick, or I can add it to your USB stick in class.  If you are planning to sew, bring your machine, a 5x7 hoop, thread and bobbin thread, a USB stick, stabilizer (a medium cutaway), a background fabric piece larger than your hoop, fabrics for the appliqué, a pair of bent scissors for embroidery (or maybe a duckbill style scissors if you have those) and the usual sewing supplies. I like to adhere heat and bond lite or Wonder Under for my larger appliqué pieces.

We will provide a pattern or two and discuss techniques to cut material and sew the block together. You can make one or multiple blocks. We provide a pattern.
