You are welcome to join if you’re a new or seasoned embroiderer. You may drop by even if you don’t have a machine to come, watch, and ask questions about machines, projects etc. We may have a recommended project, but members are also welcome to come and work on a project of their choosing.
We also envision integrating discussions and demonstrations about the use of computer technology in creating and resizing designs. We are also discussing making items for sale in the gallery to benefit the club.

Riley Blake BLock Challenge
Riley Blake Designs is hosting a RBD Block Challenge sew along which will be used for our new Block of the Month. All the blocks are designed by RBD Designers and can be found on www.rileyblakedesigns.com. A new and different block is released once a week, three times a month, over several months and when sewn together, becomes a gorgeous Sampler quilt.
You will work at your own pace with 1-2 blocks sewn each month.
Participants will need to print their own patterns located at 2025 RBD Block Challenge.

Dresden Plates
The Dresden Plate quilt block, named for its resemblance to the elaborate, fine porcelain plates from Dresden Germany, gained popularity in the United States during the 1920s and 1930s. Barbara will elaborate on their history in this presentation.
