October Meeting Theme is Pumpkins
The next meeting of the Machine Embroidery small group will take place on October 23rd at 1:00 PM.
This is a rather informal group and we all learn from each other. There is a lot of time to chat while those machines are humming! If you have an embroidery machine and you are unsure about how to use it, come on by. We usually have Brother/Babylock machines and Bernina machines running during our meeting.
This month will be all about pumpkins! Stitch one or all four. Make your pumpkins into a pillow, wall hanging or table runner. I will send you the files by email or load them onto your USB stick that afternoon.
Things to bring:
Embroidery machine, 5x7 or 6x10 hoop, black cotton fabric, stabilizer and thread. If you don’t have that many colors, I have plenty. The white pumpkin design can be done with metallic gold thread for the leaves.
Your usual sewing supplies including extra needles and bobbins, scissors, seam ripper, pins, etc.

The 12 Days of Christmas

Come and join us as we construct this beautiful seasonal sampler quilt celebrating the magical season of Christmas!
You don't have to make the whole quilt, you may use your blocks for pillows, table runners or whatever you’d like.
You may sew from your stash or in the basics as suggested in the fabric requirements.
Instructions for a new block will be provided each month for 12 months and when sewn together, becomes a festive holiday sampler quilt for yourself or to give as a gift.
Finished size: 48” x 63” inches
Again, this is a work at your own pace quilt.
